 Cool Pops
From weightwatchers.caIce-Pops A refreshing almost guilt-free pick-me-up for summertime dieters. Not only can you save dollars making fruity ices at home, you will finally be in charge of the flavour assortment. For best results, start with a light variety gelatin, which Jell-O Jelly Powder offers in Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange, and a variety of other flavours. Then mix one or two cups of boiling water with the gelatin mixture, pour them into frozen pop containers and freeze.

Frozen Chocolate Pudding Treats
For a cool creamier soother, Frozen Chocolate Pudding Treats are a wholesome and nutritious fix. Pudding, just like all dairy products, is a great way to meet your body’s calcium needs. The chocolate pudding in the recipe below can easily be swapped out for vanilla or butterscotch flavoured. Just be sure to use light instant pudding!Ingredients
1 package Chocolate Jell-O Fat Free Instant Pudding
1 1/2 cup low-fat milk
1 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
1/8 tsp table salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, stir together dry pudding mix, milk, sugar and salt until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice.
  2. Pour into 4 frozen pop moulds and cool 15 minutes. Insert wooden sticks and freeze until hard.
  3. Remove pops from moulds. Serve or wrap in plastic and store in freezer.

Pop Variations

Fizz-Pops Mix club soda and Jell-O Jelly Powder Light – 87-93% less calories than regular Jell-O Jelly Powders – to make sparkling, Champagne-like, frozen treats, then freeze in moulds.

Parfait Pops Layer pops with partially thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping topping in between, then freeze.

Creamsicles Layer with prepared Vanilla Jell-O Fat Free Instant Pudding and your favourite flavour of Jell-O Light Jelly Powder, then add to mould and freeze.
